Dr. Cornelia Davis Wins Humanitarian Award For International Public Health & WHO Work

Dr. Cornelia Davis has won a humanitarian award for her contribution to world health.
Whether it’s helping to eradicate smallpox in India or assisting countries around the world to battle a range of diseases, Dr. Davis has been at the forefront of global health.
She has also written numerous books and is a celebrated author.
She was conferred the USCF 2022 Alumni Humanitarian Service Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to health.
It’s granted to an alum who, according to UCSF, “has made a transformative contribution to their local community, the nation, or the world that has helped make it a better place.”
This award is the latest in a series of accomplishments by Dr. Davis. 
She has battled disease outbreaks in Africa and Asia for WHO and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
