With the upcoming launch of their new app, they hope to improve the social life of students at UT Austin, Texas State University and Austin Community College. 
The app will offer you an interactive social map that highlights the city’s most popular student venues and shows you exactly who is hanging out at these venues and when. 
The app’s developers have canvassed the city’s most popular neighborhoods and districts like the Rainey Street Historic District. 
Using its live map, you can see what is taking place on Rainey Street and when, and you can also enjoy exclusive deals at some of the street’s most buzzy venues. 
Since OOt Social’s mission is to make social really mean social, the app’s interface also contains an array of interest groups that organize meetups and events like pub crawls.
With coverage of all the city’s favorite student hangs, you can also see what’s happening in Sixth Street, the Red River Cultural District, the Warehouse District and SoCo.
