While the NBA is still leading the way when it comes to sports and crypto partnerships, the 2022 F1 season saw wide adoption of crypto sponsorships across the board. 
The first F1/crypto sponsorship was announced on March 2, 2021, when Aston Martin and Crypto.com finalized their sponsorship deal. 
In the coming months throughout 2021 and 2022, six teams announced that they would have a crypto sponsor in the 2022 season.
