The report highlights 4 major trends for 2023.
According to Voices, there has been an influx of professional voice talents, both part-time and full-time, in the industry in the last three years.
It stresses the need to elevate your voice acting skills by investing in a good microphone, finding a voice acting coach, and auditioning as frequently as possible.
Voice actors who work with a coach are 20% more likely to receive more casting auditions and book more roles.
Nevertheless, even with the right training, you should attempt to audition more than five times a day.
Lastly, the report mentions that companies prefer voice talents who can deliver “conversational” or ‘believable” styles.
