After charting out careers in higher education, and business CEO Maurice D. Ravennah and COO Dr. Floyd H. Hardin the third reunited for a new venture
They decided to start a social service firm, Phoenix International Inc. to run Independent Living Programs for foster youth.
The program provides housing, watchful oversight, life skill instruction, as well as vocational and academic supports.
The program is house a the Villages at Carver apartment complex in Atlanta, GA
After 4 years the program and company have outgrown this home consisting of 12 apartments. With a monthly cost of $25,000.
That’s the equivalent of a $5,000,000 mortgage. A lot of programming could be done with those funds.
Phoenix started the Dynamic Dollar Capital Campaign to raise funds towards a down-payment on land plot and container garden facility they will build.
