The manufacturers also add in lanolin from sheep wool, glycerin, latex and wax.
Artificial
Mix in some artificial flavors, artificial dyes and artificial sweeteners.
Non-Stick
Throw in a little talc as in “Talcum powder” to make sure that the chewing gum does not stick to the paper wrapper.
Preservative
Extend the shelf life of the gum using Butylated hydroxy toluene as the preservative.
Cancer
These chemicals have been linked to liver and kidney damage as well as cancer.
